TV-Browser needs the Java runtime minimum version 6.0
I'd like to ask you about suggestions for the development of the desktop version of TV-Browser. What should be changed/added to make it work better? Please post your suggestions on the message board.
On a side node for every Android user who is searching for a free (and ad-free) shopping list/to-do list app that is easy to use and only need the minimum amount of permissions, I recommend my app SimpleShoppingList. I've developed this app for myself because I didn't find an app that matched my expectations on such an app and maybe it's also what you are searching for.
TV-Browser 3.4.4 fixes bugs of the previous versions. New channels are now searched automatically on a regular base and changes will be shown directly, broken filters are easily recognizable, separators can be added to the channel list and the search contains a new type "Whole term" which allows to search for whole words and term without finding programs with parts of the term. The first day of the week is now configurable.
TV-Browser 3.4.4 will probably be the last version that supports Java 6, the next version will depend on Java 8.
The list with all changes can be viewed hereTo the download.
TV-Browser 3.4.3 fixes a critical bug of the previous version. This version also contains the News plugin for Windows user again, that was missing for a number of older versions.
